          AT THE BEACH AND BEYOND

 Our Summer Camp is open five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.  It is divided into two sessions. Attendance is flexible and can be tailored to meet most parent's requirements.

Summer Camp is a relaxed, fun time where each week has an overall theme. The days have age appropriate activities, reflecting the weekly theme, to engage young minds and bodies. It is an opportunity to develop new friendships and skills.

Monday through Friday, all summer long – it’s always something different at Gaul’s!

                FIRST SESSION
                  June 22 - July 31

Each day explores some aspect of a weekly theme, usually involving a craft activity. Weather permitting we spend as much time out of doors as possible.

WEEK 1 MR. GOLDEN SUN – The sun is our friend….but handle with care! Gaul’s
               sun guys and gals will learn all about our biggest star while crafting sun visors,
               sunglasses, sun catchers….we’ll even eat a sunshine salad!

WEEK 2 HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA – Show your patriotic colors – we’ll decorate you
               for the 4th with red, white, and blue-and on Friday you’ll be off from day
               camp to get ready for your celebration!

WEEK 3 SURF & SAND-Let’s take a bucket and shovel and see what we can find on
               the beach-sand crabs, starfish, lots of shells…. do you smell the salt air?

WEEK 4 STROLLIN ON THE BOARDWALK –Cotton candy, waffles and ice cream,
               candy , games and crafts….some things are just better on the boardwalk.

WEEK 5 A-CAMPING WE WILL GO-Grab your backpack and let’s take a hike
               through the woods to our campsite! The woods are full of fun signs of
               nature, and a man-made creation- S’MORES!

WEEK 6 SOFT,SLIMY & SUPER –Every little living thing has a place on the earth –
               we’ll get down ‘n dirty with the bugs, butterflies, and worms of the world!

 

                                      

 

 

 

 

 

                                        SECOND SESSION
                 August 3 - September 4

WEEK 7 SUMMER NIGHTS-Listening to the frogs by the pond and the owls in the
               tree, sipping lemonade on a hot August night….we’ll close our eyes and imagine
               it’s a peaceful summer evening right here at day camp.

WEEK 8 CARNIVAL-Cotton candy and silly clowns, toss the ball and win the game….
               what’s more fun than the sights and sounds of a carnival?

WEEK 9 FABULOUS FISH-Say a happy hello to Nemo and his friends as we journey
               down under the ocean!

WEEK 10 PHILLY FEVER-What, oh what, will our famous Philly teams do this season!
                 Go Phillies! Fly, Eagles, Fly!!

WEEK 11 MOVIN’ ALONG-The lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer are almost over-it’s
                 time for all Gaul’s guys and gals to move on to a new school year.

Check our summer calendar each morning to find out what's in store for that day – making a hat, finger-painting with ice cream, painting shells…the fun never stops! Our playground has additional stations set up each morning for outdoor play. And when the afternoon heat begins, in we go for a cool-down quiet time with a movie. Full and extended day students that attended the 2008-09 school year pay their regular tuition.
This tuition schedule is for half day & summer camp students only. Weekly rates are available upon request.
